What species is Yoda?
Yoda is a fictional character in the world of Star Wars and first appeared in 1980 in the fifth episode of empire strike back. In the original trilogy, he trained Luke Skywalker to fight against the sinister Hungarian Empire. In the following films, Yoda was one of the masters of the Jedi and was a general leader in the clone wars.
Yoda was named the 25th greatest movie character of all time by Empire magazine in year 2007. While Vandomania ranked it 60th among the 100 Greatest Fictional Characters.
A wax statue of Yoda is erected at the entrance of the Lucasfilm Letterman Center for Digital Arts in San Francisco.
Frank Oz provided the voice of Yoda in all of the films and used his puppet animation skills in the original Star Wars trilogy, the Phantom Menace. Warwick Davis also animated the Yoda doll in some of the first episode scenes.

He also John Lithgow performed the voice of Yoda in the quote radio fifth and sixth of the two, Tom Keane led his voice in a number of video games and the series of wars Bdzoah Clones, passed in 2003 and 2008.
Makeup artist Stuart Freeborn drew Yoda’s face from his own and also took glimpses of Albert Einstein’s face. The Phantom Menace was redesigned to look younger. A computer was used for remote shots, but dolls were used for most of the shots. Nick Dodman has recreated the doll based on the original Stuart Freeborn design.
Yoda was drawn by the computer in the second and third episodes, so scenes that could not be executed with dolls, such as combat scenes, were executed. His face appeared in several close-up shots in the movie Revenge of the Sith, which required careful computer work to match the doll’s shape.
